Branding Policies
Our trademarks and other brand features are protected by law.
Crescendo Worldwide private Limited (CWWPL) generally does not permit its members, third party developers, partners and the media (“you”) to use its name, trademarks, logos, web pages, screenshots and other brand features. Narrow and specific exceptions are detailed below. Any other uses must obtain prior approval from CWWPL.
We never approve the following types of requests because they violate our Terms of Service. So please don’t ask permission to:
• Use our trademarks such as CWWPL in the name of your business, group, event, product, service, app, domain name, social media account, or other offering,
• Use our trademarks more prominently than your product or service name,
• Use our trademarks on promotional materials that you are distributing or selling,
• Modify our trademarks or combine them with any other symbols, words, images, designs, or incorporate them into a slogan, or
• Use our trademarks in a way that implies affiliation with or endorsement by LinkedIn of your products or services.
If you have a partner agreement with CWWPL, the agreement requires you to seek permission in order to use our trademarks or brand features.
Note that even after you have received specific permission to use our trademarks or brand features, you agree to adhere to these Policies and specifically to the Use Requirements and Terms below.

I. Our trademarks
CWWPL, the CWWPL logo, in logo and in Mail are registered trademarks or trademarks of and its affiliates in the India and/or other countries.
You should include this attribution, as applicable, with your other trademark and copyright notices.
II. Use of the “CWWPL” name in text
When referring to our company, the full name is Crescendo Worldwide Private Limited. When referring to our services, the CWWPL name should be written as one word and used as an adjective followed by a description of our services in a form similar to the following examples:
• Crescendo Worldwide® professional networking services
• Digi-Expo ™ exhibition services
The Crescendo Worldwide name should always be accompanied by either the ® or ™ symbol. See Attribution under the Use Requirements and Terms, for further information.
III.CWWPL logos
Logo for Use by CWWPL Members
The only use of CWWPL brand features that is permitted without a separate agreement is that if you are a CWWPL member, you may use the “in” Logo to designate a link to your professional profile or to a Group or Company page or to promote you or your organization’s presence on CWWPL.
IV. Logos for Use by Third Party Developers
As a Third-Party Developer of CWWPL, you must request permission to use our logos. Please contact us at legal@crescendoworldwide.org with your request.
Once approved, you may use our logos on your website and in connection with your application which offers access to the CWWPL website via the CWWPL API’s. Your use of the logos is subject to: (i) the applicable API terms of use or such other agreement between you and CWWPL; (ii) your compliance with the Platform Guidelines, as well as these Guidelines.
V. Logos for Use by Partners
If you have a current agreement with CWWPL, other than a license to CWWPL’s APIs, you must request permission to use our logos pursuant to the terms of the agreement. Please contact us at legal@crescendoworldwide.org with your request.
Once approved, you may use our logos in accordance with the terms of your agreement with CWWPL and these Guidelines.
VI. Logos for Use by the Media
Logos may be downloaded for use in reporting on CWWPL’s business. These logos may not be altered, combined with other marks or used in a misleading manner. Your use of these logos is subject to your compliance with these Guidelines.
VII. Books or printed materials
CWWPL does not allow the use of its logos or the name “CWWPL” in the title or otherwise on the cover of books or other publications without prior written permission of CWWPL. If you are interested in using the CWWPL name or logos in a publication, please contact legal@crescendoworldwide.org
VII. Film and TV
If you would like to use CWWPL’s logos in a television or film or video production, please contact legal@crescendoworldwide.org.
IX. Blogs
CWWPL does not allow the use of the name CWWPL in the title of blogs or otherwise in the blog except as a descriptive reference to LinkedIn or its services. LinkedIn does not allow use of its logos in blogs except as permitted for LinkedIn members as permitted in these Guidelines.
X. Manufactured items
Generally, CWWPL does not permit the use of its Marks on manufactured products (T-shirts, packaging, other memorabilia). If you wish to use CWWPL’s Marks on manufactured items, please contact legal@crescendoworldwide.org
XI. Use requirements and terms
All permitted uses of the CWWPL Marks must conform to the following guidelines:
a. Logo Display: The CWWPL logo must stand alone. You must maintain a minimum amount of space between the CWWPL logo and other graphic or textual elements. To preserve the integrity and clarity of the logo, a standard area of “clear space” should be maintained around the logo in all uses.
b. Logo and Background Color:
The CWWPL logo should always be used in color for online use. The CWWPL logo should also be used in color for print applications unless the color version is not practical, in which case the logo can be reproduced in solid black. The preferred background color for the logo is solid white. When a solid white color is not practical, it may be used on a solid, light background color. The high-resolution logo must be used for all print applications.
c. Size:
The CWWPL logos may be provided in different sizes/resolutions in transparent PNG format. To ensure the logo resolution and quality are not degraded, these logos may not be enlarged beyond their native/maximum size.
d. No Modification:
The CWWPL Marks must be used as provided by CWWPL with no modifications. Don’t remove, distort or alter any element of the Marks, including changing any colors. Do not shorten, abbreviate, or create acronyms out of the Marks.
e. No Confusingly Similar Marks:
Don’t use the Marks in a manner that might create potential confusion as to the owner of the CWWPL Marks or imply that CWWPL is the source of your products or services.
f. No Incorporation:
Don’t incorporate the CWWPL Marks into your own product name, service names, trademarks, logos, company names, domain names, website title, publication title, application icon, favicon, or the like. Don’t incorporate or use the IN logo as part of a word.
g. No Generic Use:
Don’t use the CWWPL Marks in a way that suggests a common, descriptive, or generic meaning.
h. No Plural or Possessive Use:
Never use the CWWPL Marks in the plural or possessive form.
i. Domain Names:
Don’t register the CWWPL Marks as domain names or as any part of a domain name.
j. Trade Dress:
Don’t copy or imitate CWWPL’s website design, typefaces, distinctive color, graphics designs or imagery.
k. Endorsement:
Don’t display the CWWPL Marks in any manner that might imply a relationship or affiliation with, sponsorship, or endorsement by CWWPL, or that can be reasonably interpreted to suggest that any content has been authorized by or represents the views or opinions of CWWPL or CWWPL personnel.
l. Prominence:
Don’t display the CWWPL Marks as the primary or most prominent feature on your web page or in any non-CWWPL materials.
m. Disparagement:
Do not use the CWWPL Marks in a manner that would disparage CWWPL or its products or services.
n. Violation of Law:
Don’t display the CWWPL Marks on any web site that contains or displays adult content, promotes gambling, involves the sale of tobacco or alcohol to persons under twenty-one years of age, or otherwise violates any law or regulation.
o. Objectionable Use:
Don’t display the CWWPL Marks in a manner that is in CWWPL’s sole opinion misleading, unfair, defamatory, infringing, libelous, disparaging, obscene or otherwise objectionable to CWWPL.
p. Attribution:
The CWWPL Marks must be accompanied by the appropriate ® or ™ symbol. If you use the Marks outside the India, please see Use Outside the India below.
Use Outside the India:
Trademark rights vary from country to country. Some countries have penalties for improper use of the registration symbol ®. If using the Marks on sites based outside the India, use the ™ symbol unless otherwise noted in these Guidelines.
q. Termination:
CWWPL may ask you to stop using the Marks at any time. You agree to stop using the Marks within a reasonable period of CWWPL’s request, but in no situation, more than three (3) days after CWWPL’s request.
r. Reservation of Rights:
CWWPL is the owner of all rights in the Marks and reserves all rights save the limited license granted here. Your use of the Marks pursuant to this license shall not be construed as limiting any of CWWPL’s rights in the Marks.
CWWPL DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY LAW REGARDING THE CWWPL MARKS (TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW), INCLUDING WARRANTIES AGAINST INFRINGEMENT.
XII. Additional information
CWWPL requires that you conform to these Guidelines in your use of any Brand Features. We may modify these Guidelines at any time and your continued use of the Brand Features will constitute your consent to such modifications. CWWPL has complete discretion in determining if your use violates any of the Guidelines.
If you would like to make use of the Brand Features in a manner not within the following Guidelines, you must seek prior written permission by contacting legal@crescendoworldwide.org.
XIII.FAQs
Q: I want to use the CWWPL logo on my business cards and/or website. Is that ok?
CWWPL does not permit the use of the CWWPL logo on business cards and/or website. However, you may use the ‘in’ logo on business cards and/or website to promote your presence on CWWPL. However, please do not do any of the following:
o Modify the ‘CWWPL’ logo in any way
o Incorporate the ‘CWWPL’ logo into your own logo, brand, or domain name
o Use the ‘CWWPL’ logo as an icon or link for any application other than CWWPL.
Q: We are a corporate entity that uses CWWPL. Can we use the CWWPL logo on our corporate website?
CWWPL does not permit the use of the CWWPL logo on third-party corporate website. See below question.
Q: I want to use the CWWPL logo or ‘CWWPL’ logo on promotional merchandise. Can I do that?
No, we do not permit use of any of our logos on manufactured items such as t-shirts, mugs, or similar items.
Q: The downloadable logo files on your website will not work for my needs. Can I get a different or modified logo?
CWWPL does not permit any modifications of the CWWPL or ‘CWWPL’ logo. For example, you may not modify the color or dimensions of the logo. You may not use a logo that you have obtained from a third-party website. You may not add text to the logo.
